We now run a compulsory three day induction programme for all new tenants, our new induction programme gives you the advice and knowledge required to run a successful Robinsons pub business and is an essential introduction to the partnership with Robinsons. It covers a range of subjects including cellar management, legal obligations, marketing and promotions, food, wine and an introduction to our brands. You will also have the opportunity to join a Brewery Tour.

Areas of training include
PEAT (Pre-entry Awareness Training)
Together with the APLH qualification, we require all prospective tenants to undertake PEAT online via the BIIAB website at £75.00 (exc. VAT). This gives an explanation of what needs to be considered before signing a pub tenancy or lease agreement.
Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH)
This course is run by our training partners, CPL Training. You will need to contact them on 0151 650 6911 or via their website www.cpltraining.co.uk. They hold monthly courses at a range of venues throughout the UK on alternative dates. They will provide you with all the details you need.
Once you become a Tenant with Robinsons you will have the opportunity to access an extensive programme of e-learning courses for both you and your staff, the cost of your first year is covered in your sign up package. This system is easy to use through standard internet access and offers a wide range of compliance and softer skills training courses. All courses are designed to be interactive with lots of graphics to aid learning, as well as frequent interactive quizzes to remind users of the key points before they finish the module. This includes Level 2 Food Safety, Age Verification, Stock Management, Health and Safety, Bar Excellence and Customer Service.
