Martin Cook was taken on as an employee of the Glyn-y-Weddw, Llanbedrog in 1998. By 1991 he had worked his way up to become manager and eight years later he took on the tenancy himself. Steve & Jan Healy have been landlord and landlady of The Railway at Rose Hill since November 1998.They progressed there from the Horsefield Arms at Bredbury where over a period of five years, they had developed as skilled operators of their first pub.
